Victoria Falls, Zambia with Visits to Zimbabwe and Botswana

This is our classic three or four night program. Guests visit Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and view Namibia across the Chobe River. Échos d’Afrique also offers an extensive variety of nearby tours and activities. A three night program gets the job done, but is a bit rushed. Four nights is a more relaxed and a fuller more varied experience.  

 

Here's a synopsis of the two programs. We have not included receptions or dinners or any of the customized details that will make this experience your proprietary program. Such inclusions are important to the program, but each option contains so many variables, that they are best discussed at program conception.

 

Three Night Itinerary

 

Day 1                 Arrive Livingstone International Airport. Meet and greet. Baggage

assistance. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon or evening briefing.

 

Day 2                 Morning tour of both Zambia and Zimbabwe sides of the falls.

 

Afternoon free for optional tours – Zambezi River excursions, helicopter over the falls, various game parks or free time at the hotel.

 

Day 3                 Full Day Chobe National Park, Botswana. 

 

      Morning one hour transportation to the border with Botswana. Cross              the Chobe River and drive to Chobe National Park. Morning game drive.

                          Lunch at a lodge.

                         

                         Afternoon boat safari on the Chobe River.

                         Return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4               Transfer to Livingstone Airport and Depart

 

Four Night Itinerary

This program allows for guests to participate in two additional tours and activities.

 

Day 1               Arrive Livingstone International Airport. Meet and greet.

     Baggage assistance. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon or evening briefing.

Day 2               Morning tour of both Zambia and Zimbabwe sides of the falls.

​

                        Afternoon at leisure for optional tours or free time at the hotel. See Day 2

    of the Three Night Itinerary for a list of tours and activities.

Day 3             Full Day Chobe National Park, Botswana. We understand that guests may

   have been on safari in Kruger, but this day is unlike the Kruger experience.     Morning one hour transportation to the border with Botswana. Cross the       Chobe River and drive to Chobe National Park. Morning game drive.

                       Lunch at a lodge.

​

                       Afternoon boat safari on the Chobe River.

 

                       Return to the hotel for dinner.

​

Day 4             Optional tours and maybe half day free for relaxing by the pool, spa

   treatments, golf or a community service program.

 

Day 5             Transfer to Livingstone Airport and depart

 

Consider Other Options...

We realize that visitors planning and booking their first safari are drawn to South Africa – a great international airport and Kruger National Park is the best known game park in Africa. But if you are marketing to the more adventurous travelers or the repeat safari clientele, the people who have been to Kruger and want something more, consider planning "bucket list" experiences to our three countries. Each can be comfortably combined with a couple of nights at Vic Falls. A number of logistically sound combinations are possible, but to explain all of them on our website is not practical. So, consider the following and then let's talk about the possibilities.
